SIXTH GRADE

We spent the class time today discussing the class rules, what each of them meant, and how the class is breaking the rules. We also discussed procedures again and practiced on those. The class has had a bit of trouble following directions so we are trying to start over and have a more productive class period. It may take a few days to get to where the class can get back to real classwork. All we accomplished today, besides the long discussion about rules and procedures, is the Fast Math. There is no homework.

SEVENTH GRADE

Math: Today, half the class spent the time going over the mistakes they made on the last 2 lessons. The other half worked on a fraction enrichment sheet. It was quite challenging, I think! I could hear them working very hard together to find the answers.

Geography: We finished up the notes on weather phenomena. There is no homework!

The class met my mother today. She is going to be our homeroom mom and she stopped by to meet the class!

EIGHTH GRADE

Pre-Algebra: Solving multiplication and division inequalities. A video will be below soon.

Algebra I: Continue solving equations - including eliminating the parentheses and combining like terms. A video will be below soon.

See you tomorrow!
