SIXTH GRADE

Today's assignment is conversions of customary units with answers written with mixed measures. Here is a video with some examples. From the worksheet, you are doing #1-6, #13-21.

 
SEVENTH GRADE MATH

Ratio word problems worksheet.

GEOGRAPHY

The homework is the questions handout about the section we read from the textbook - about how humans interact where their environment in Central and West Africa.

PRE-ALGEBRA

The class worked on an activity. We will finish it tomorrow.

ALGEBRA

Solving quadratic equations by factoring. #2-36 evens page 408. Here is a video with all of the examples I did in class. Let me know if you have any questions.

SIXTH GRADE

We went over how to convert customary measures today, but there is no homework. They will get the homework tomorrow.
 
SEVENTH GRADE MATH

The class worked on unit rates today. You are doing the second lesson in the chapter on ratios. #4-16.
 
GEOGRAPHY

The class watched a couple of introductory videos about the geography of Africa today. There is no homework.

PRE-ALGEBRA

The class worked on linear equation applications today. Here is a video with the rest of #2. You are doing #3-4.

ALGEBRA I

You are doing the integrated review in the middle of chapter 6. #2-40 evens. If you are struggling a lot tonight, please skip the ones you don't know. I will give you time in class tomorrow to answer questions.

This post was supposed to be published last night, but I apparently never hit the publish button! Sorry about that...especially Algebra. The only change for today is, the Geography Test over South America is postponed until tomorrow. Study tonight!

Today's assignment was a worksheet over dividing mixed numbers. You are doing #10-27. The bottom word problems are extra credit!

SEVENTH GRADE MATH

Two Step Equations Maze worksheet.

GEOGRAPHY

There is a test tomorrow over South America. Please study!

PRE-ALGEBRA

There is no homework. The class will be working in class for the rest of the week on a Slope Project. Part of the project is required and part of it is extra credit.

ALGEBRA I

Factoring Trinomials. Page 379 (?) #2-22 evens. I'm not positive on the page number, but it is the second lesson in chapter 6. Here is a video with several examples.

SIXTH GRADE

There is no homework from Friday. We played a math game.

SEVENTH GRADE MATH

Solving Inequalities by multiplying or dividing. Remember, if you multiply or divide BOTH sides by a negative number, the inequality sign flips around.

GEOGRAPHY

The class took notes over various terms for the unit test over South America. The test will be on Wednesday.

PRE-ALGEBRA

We played a math game today in class. No homework!

ALGEBRA I

I am posting two videos - the first is over the lesson from Thursday - finding the GCF and factoring out the GCF.

The second video is for Friday's assignment, Factoring by Grouping. Page 370 #56-74.
