SIXTH GRADE

Assignment #3-11, #1-20 ONLY: Multiplying mixed numbers and fractions. Remember to turn all mixed numbers into improper fractions by using the u-turn! Then cancel where you can and multiply across. Finally, change any improper answers back into a mixed number by dividing bottom into top. Please let me know if you are stuck!

The following is a video that WK was trying to find to help with a previous assignment. Here you go!

SEVENTH GRADE

Math: Assignment #3-11. #1-20 only. Two-step equations. The following is a video I made for Pre-Algebra when they did two-step equations. You can skip to the point at 2 minutes because the first two examples are not on your paper. (The ones with negative x's.)

Geography: The class took some notes and we discussed how the geography of North America impacted early civilizations. No homework.

EIGHTH GRADE

Pre-Algebra: There is a test on Wednesday. We spent today reviewing for the test!

Algebra I: Value problems. Please see the examples we did together in class and email me if you have questions. Remember, you will have two statements of equality. One will be about the "count" of the items....how many do you have? And the other will be about the value of the items....this is the one with money amounts in it.

See you tomorrow!
