SIXTH GRADE

Today, the class worked in small groups to decide on their survey. Tomorrow, each group will go to a different class and take a survey. They will then turn the survey into a bar graph. The homework for today is to create a bar graph with the data we came up with in class - number of letters in their names.

SEVENTH GRADE MATH

Multiplying Fractions. You are doing #7-23 on the page for multiplying fractions and mixed numbers. You just aren't doing mixed numbers yet. Here is a video with a few examples:
GEOGRAPHY

The class continued a few notes on socio-economic indicators and then learned how to the CIA World Factbook to look up statistics. Tomorrow, they will each choose 3 countries (they will draw for their countries) and find the indicators using the website.

PRE-ALGEBRA

The class took a test today over expressions and equations.

ALGEBRA I

We began a new unit today on linear equations. Do numbers 18-32 and 40-60 evens on pages 181-183. (Or somewhere in there...I don't remember the exact pages and I didn't write it down!)
