SIXTH GRADE MATH

The class finished their test today. No homework!

SEVENTH GRADE MATH

More adding signed fractions. If you need help, watch the video from yesterday. Also, you can send me an email anytime!

SEVENTH GRADE GEOGRAPHY

I passed out new textbooks today! The new books come in a set of two - Western and Eastern Hemisphere. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we didn't have the correct number of Western Hemisphere books. We will be able to get new ones in time for our unit on North America, though. Today, we read from a section on culture that is fortunately in both books. We are going to work on a Culture Project in which the students will be displaying or sharing parts of their own culture. We will do this through pictures and posters. Most of the work will be done in class - except for taking pictures, but hopefully, that will be a fun homework assignment! Tonight, you can begin taking some of the pictures you will need. However, we will not be able to work in the computer lab tomorrow as it is already taken for our class time. We will be in there on Tuesday though. Go ahead and bring your phone, USB drive, SD card, and cable connector to class. I may be able to upload your pictures to my computer during class.
