SIXTH GRADE

Today the class began a fun activity. Each student received a 10x10 grid on paper and a pile of small tissue squares in multiple colors. They will glue down the squares onto the grid and then determine the percent, decimal, and fraction for each color they use. We will continue tomorrow. There is no homework! But be sure to have the homework from Friday ready to turn in tomorrow. (Several students had trouble with some of them so I allowed an extra day.)

SEVENTH GRADE

Math: We spent the class time today going over the work from Friday. I allowed students to fix answers and check over their work. The assignment is due tomorrow.

Geography: Current Events. Everyone was assigned a country and looked up a current event during Computers class. Be sure to write a paragraph in your own words, explaining the news story. During class, we discussed the colonization of South America.

EIGHTH GRADE

Pre-Algebra: There is a test tomorrow over Linear Equation and Inequality Applications. Be sure to go over the review!

Algebra I: p. 327 #59-88. ALL. These are the same as Friday. Let me know if you get stuck!

See you tomorrow,

Mrs. Swickey
