Monday, December 13th

Notice to all parents and students:

A list of missing assignments were passed out today to those students who have incomplete work. All assignments are due by FRIDAY, December 17th.

Sixth Grade

Math - Lesson 46. Mentally multiplying decimal numbers by 10 and 100. Remember, to multiply a decimal number by 10, just move the decimal to the right ONE place. To multiply a decimal number by 100, move the decimal to the right TWO places. If you have to, fill in empty places with zeros.

Spelling - Unit 15 is due tomorrow! You will be having a test too, so be sure to study.

Literature - We read Chapter 12 of The Golden Goblet. No homework!

Seventh Grade

Spelling - Unit 16 is due on Friday.

Literature - We began reading "A Christmas Carol" today. We will read the play this week and watch the movie on Friday! No homework.

Math - For math this week, we are doing the "Save the Penguins" unit that Mrs. Lassiter and I taught to the 8th graders last week. The materials are on loan, so while the unit really ties into the Physical Science of 8th grade, we wanted to give the 7th graders the same opportunity while we have the supplies. It's going to be a lot of fun! There will be some math homework this week, but not as much.

Eighth Grade

During our class time today, The Grinch was here, so there is no homework!

See you tomorrow!
Mrs. Swickey
