SIXTH GRADE MATH

Today, the class worked in groups to plan a survey for another class (which they will do tomorrow). The homework is to complete a bar graph using the data from our class survey of favorite ice cream.

7th Grade: Don't forget! Our field trip to Mount Saint Mary's is tomorrow morning. You have to wear your regular school uniform.

SEVENTH GRADE MATH

Finding equivalent fractions and reducing fractions to simplest form. Remember, on the first set, you are multiplying to find two equivalent fractions. On the second set, you are dividing to find two equivalent fractions. On the third set, you are still dividing, but you have to make sure that your final answer is reduced all the way...so that it can't be divided by anything else. Please let me know if you have any problems! You are doing page 84, #7-26.

SEVENTH GRADE GEOGRAPHY

Today, we talked about why conflict happens and how conflict can be resolved. We discussed conflict between a variety of groups - such as between two countries, people with different religious beliefs, people from different races - and the class broke into small groups to discuss how the conflicts are resolved. There is no homework. Tomorrow, the class will take notes on what each group discussed.

PRE-ALGEBRA

Solving addition and subtraction equations. I will post a video in about an hour. (around 7:30)
page 35 #1-27. Remember, you MUST show your steps even if you can do them in your head. It will be very useful later to know how to work the steps.

ALGEBRA I

Solving inequalities and writing them in interval notation. I will post a video in about an hour. (around 7:30)

See you tomorrow!
