SIXTH GRADE
The homework for today is the subtracting integers worksheet. #1-29, from 30 to the end is extra credit.
SEVENTH GRADE
Math: The class did an activity today called Capture the Flag - World Domination! It was a fun activity using their skills on measuring angles with a protractor. Tomorrow, we will find out who the new world leader is!
Geography: The class had a test today. Remember, there is a country quiz over Asia tomorrow! Be sure you get notes for it. Please look them up yourself.
EIGHTH GRADE
Pre-Algebra: Finding volume of cones and pyramids. The formula is simple: area of the base times the height divided by 3. Remember that when you find the area of the base to pay attention to what shape the base is. If the base is a square, multiply side x side. If the base is a rectangle, multiply length x width. If the base is a triangle, multiply the triangle's base times the triangle's height and divide by 2.
