Literature - Answer questions for "The Stone" and draw a picture of an event from the story. Be sure your picture is in color. Do not use ink pen or just pencil. The questions are: Thinking About the Selection #1-7 Analyzing Literature #1-2 Critical Thinking and Reading #1-3 Spelling - Unit 30 is due next Tuesday. Literature - Write an essay about the following: Think of a place you know really well. Imagine what it would look like in 50 years. Write an essay that compares and contrasts how the place looks now and how it would look in 50 years. Remember, comparing means that you write how they are similar. Contrasting means you write how they are different. Focus on the setting. Describe the PLACE. Math - Lesson 86. Use the chart you made in class or the chart on page587 to answer the questions. Remember, each box is completely inside the boxes around it. That means that ALL counting numbers are whole numbers. Grammar - pp. 174-176. Exercise B. Follow instructions exactly. Eighth Grade
